Erica’s pick for Appaman’s Five Weeks of Giving is the United Cerebral Palsy Association.
“The United Cerebral Palsy Association was founded in 1949 by Leonard Goldenson. When UCP was established there were very few resources available to those with disabilities. Since it’s inception UCP has served to raise awareness about Cerebral Palsy while providing support for people with disabilities and their families. UCP is committed to improving the quality of life of those with Cerebral Palsy and other developmental disabilities. This is a cause that is dear to me, so I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the United Cerebral Palsy Association during our 5 weeks of giving.”
