We have a great story to share about some of Appaman’s biggest little fans.
Norwegian dad Ørjan Tunge Asbjørnsen and his wife, Kristine Noraas Asbjørnsen, have set off on a year-long journey around the world with their six sons, Kristian, 9, Joakim, 8, Aleksander, 7, Fredrik, 4, Daniel, 2, and Marius, 1. They’ve begun in North America, first visiting Florida and the Caribbean before heading to California, with plans that include Hawaii, New Zealand, Australia, Bali, Singapore, various countries in Europe, and maybe even a trip to Africa.
And as if that feat alone weren’t impressive enough, they’re doing it all in style — all six boys dress in matching head-to-toe Appaman! Ørjan is a longtime fan of our brand (in fact, he is the one responsible for first bringing Appaman to the Norwegian retail scene), so it was only natural that when packing their bags with durable, fashionable and functional clothing, in sizes that would fit every kid, our clothes made the cut.
During a stop in Los Angeles, writer Silje Kathrine Sviggum met up with the crew and interviewed them for Norway’s Bergen Tidende, where they’ve shared the details of their route, future plans, favorite places so far, and tips for how a family of 8 can travel extensively while actually enjoying each other’s company.
